Asylum Staff are ‘Intimidating’
2009 August 13
A report released by the Chief Inspector for Prisons for England and Wales has revealed many of the short comings of the immigration enforcement system. The report showed that people were not being removed from the UK due to staff shortages and simple administrative mistakes.
The report also highlighted incidents of enforcement staff using threatening behaviour. Detainees were informed that they would be ‘dealt with’ if they were ‘naughty’ on the plane.
